Creating and leveraging opportunities for Pasifika people – how can ICT help and what are the benefits to New Zealand ICT
Diversity is a hot topic in New Zealand right now. Along with the changing focus of New Zealand Government procurement towards both ICT and getting more Maori and Pasfika businesses involved, there is increasing recognition of the value of getting more Maori and Pasifika people into the ICT workforce.
Livi Ah Hoi is the Robotic Automation (RPA) & Testing Services Manager – Digital for Z Energy. He will talk about his success in changing the diversity mix at Z Energy ICT, the importance of having Maori and Pasifika ICT role models and what New Zealand business could do to achieve greater diversity in the workforce.
NZRise will update members on our involvement with the Digital Skills Forum and the focus on Diversity there.
